The Casa da Celeste was a project that started modestly. Despite the great potential of the existing structure and the quality of the intervention area, the clients were unsure if it was possible to transform the existing building into a contemporary home while preserving the legacy passed down through generations.

A young and active couple with two small children saw in CURO the ideal opportunity to create their dream home. We decided it was important to reorganize the interior space, as the layout was misaligned with their needs. On the other hand, the kitchen, which held childhood memories for one of the clients, became the central focus of the project along with the living room. This led to the creation of a direct connection between the kitchen, dining room, and living room, making it a perfect space for hosting friends and family while continuing to build cherished memories.

The exterior was not overlooked. All the external structures, which were in a poor state of preservation, were transformed into support areas for the house. Essentially, they serve as an extension of the home’s layout. More green space and a garden were added, creating a small area for the children to play. Casa da Celeste is a living storyteller.
