Casa Bétula was born at the request of a couple with two children, who dreamed of having a home that reflected the two cultures present in their experience (Portuguese and Estonian cultures). In this way, the house follows a strict internal metric, creating a game of advances and retreats on the main facade facing North. It also takes advantage of the sun exposure to the south, in a huge glass panel that, when opened, together with the balcony, creates a strong relationship between interior and exterior.
