The Montessori Bedroom, was a special challenge embraced by CURO. The first step was to define the age range for which the room should meet the needs of the baby, who is starting to take her first steps. It was intended for the furniture to be simple and reusable.

The parents had the desire for the project to be based on two aspects: Montessori system (that allows the child to learn and become autonomous naturally and on their own) and the implementation of Feng-Shui (a practice of Chinese origin that 'aligns' the energy of the space with that of the user, enhancing well-being and energetic flow).

Since it is an interior project, it was necessary to take into account some choices, which were already conditioned by the geometry of the existing space. It was assumed as a premise the base colors in pastel tones, and three complementary tones stronger ones, such as mauve, petroleum blue, and terracotta, to punctuate the space without making it heavy or visually cluttered.
