Casa Mira

The Casa Mira starts from a traditional gandaresa house by the beach, preserving its exterior identity and its relationship with the context. Inside, the intervention redesigns the existing spaces, adapting them to a more fluid, luminous and functional contemporary way of living.

The project is organised as a three-bedroom home with a loft, arranged as a series of annexes, the design makes timber, light, and spatial continuity central. The living room and kitchen form the heart of the house, extending towards the outdoor spaces and establishing a close relationship between the interior and the courtyard.

A restrained material palette, defined by timber and light tones, creates warm and timeless interiors, while bespoke joinery integrates storage and reinforces the coherence of the whole.

The Casa Mira thus stands as a reinterpretation of history: it keeps its expression and memory on the outside, while inside it creates a new way of living — more open, intimate and luminous.
